The purpose of the International City Planners Network is to make connections between planners. We are happy to have you with us! After the usual sign-up information, you will be asked to describe your work by classification and keyword. This description will be visible to anyone viewing the site. Then you will be asked to add some information about yourself that will be shown only to other registered planners, with the aim of interesting a fellow professional who might want to spend some time chatting with you on a visit to your city.
Once you register, the planners list on the Find a Planner's page will change. After you are logged in, not only will it show a new box containing more information about each planner, but the top line of any listing, the "profession," will become a link to have us send a contact message from you to that planner, whose name and email address will be kept confidential. Your name and e-mail address will never be posted on the web, but if you contact someone, your email address will be sent as the return address, along with your name, message, and how you prefer to be addressed.
When a new page loads, check for status messages at the top of the page by the bridge picture (Paris' Pont des Arts).
